This is one of the most Talented and NICEST Doctors I've ever met. He also happens to be the Surgeon that saved my life on 2-9-99.
This picture was taken on my 3rd year follow up after he removed my cancer at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa Florida.

I'm going to put a series of pictures as time marches on showing different stages of my life after surviving esophageal cancer surgery on 2-9-99. I LOVED life before cancer but let me tell you, Life is MUCH SWEETER after surviving any life threatening illness.
My doctors said that my 20 years of smoking was the MOST likely cause of my cancer. Why don't you treat yourself a little better then I treated myself for all those years??
Hummmmmm.....

These two pictures above were taken the day before my surgery for Esophageal cancer. I'm LUCKY to have survived almost three years after my successful surgery for cancer caused by smoking for 20 years.
PLEASE don't make the same mistake that I made....

Dr Richard Karl SAVED my life with his GREAT Surgeon skills. IF anyone ever needs cancer treatment, I STRONGLY suggest that they go to MOFFITT cancer center. IF I hadn't smoked for 20 years of my life this could have most likely been avoided.
I'm GLADLY sharing this with the world so possibly YOU can learn from MY mistakes.
Now PLEASE do yourself and your loved ones a BIG favor and QUIT smoking.
If you like what I'm doing to try and help people QUIT smoking and feel the desire to HELP me with my efforts, then PLEASE send whatever you can afford and feel comfortable sending to;

Any support from you is NOT tax deductible but would be GREATLY appreciated. I cover the cost of this website myself and I've had a hard time making ends meet since my cancer surgery.
Thank You for caring,
